This Return and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations, refunds, and returns for services provided by Vorxenorghul. As a service-based business offering photography and photo editing services, our refund policy differs from product-based businesses.

Please read this policy carefully before booking our services. By booking a service with vorxenorghul, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

Photography Services

Cancellation by Client

If you need to cancel a photography session:

  • 48 hours or more notice: Full refund of deposit or paid amount, or option to reschedule at no additional cost.
  • Less than 48 hours notice: Deposit is non-refundable. Full refund may be considered in exceptional circumstances at our discretion.
  • No-show: No refund will be provided for sessions where the client fails to attend without prior notice.

Cancellation by Vorxenorghul

If we need to cancel a photography session due to circumstances beyond our control (weather, illness, equipment failure, etc.), we will:

  • Provide a full refund of any amounts paid
  • Offer to reschedule at no additional cost
  • Provide as much advance notice as possible

Photo Editing Services

Before Work Begins

If you cancel photo editing services before work has commenced, you are eligible for a full refund of any amounts paid.

After Work Has Commenced

Once editing work has begun, refunds are handled as follows:

  • Partial completion: Refund amount will be calculated based on work completed. We will provide a breakdown of work done and refund the remaining balance.
  • Near completion: Refunds are typically not provided once editing is substantially complete, except in cases of service failure to meet agreed specifications.
  • Completed work: No refund is provided for completed editing work that has been delivered, unless the work fails to meet the agreed specifications.

Unsatisfactory Results

If you are not satisfied with the editing results:

  • We will work with you to make revisions (within the agreed revision rounds)
  • If revisions cannot resolve the issue and the work does not meet agreed specifications, we will discuss refund options
  • Refunds for unsatisfactory work are considered on a case-by-case basis

Refund Process

Requesting a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us:

Please include your booking reference, service details, and reason for the refund request. We will review your request and respond within 5 business days.

Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 10-14 business days. The refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction.

Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally non-refundable:

  • Services that have been fully completed and delivered as per agreed specifications
  • Deposits for cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice
  • Services where the client has already received and used the final deliverables
  • Any additional expenses incurred at the client's request that have already been paid to third parties

Digital Products

Since we provide digital photography and editing services, there are no physical products to return. All refund requests are handled according to the service-specific policies outlined above.

Digital files (images) delivered to clients become the client's property upon full payment and delivery. We cannot "return" digital files, but refund policies apply as described for services.

Disputes

If you are not satisfied with our refund decision, please contact us to discuss your concerns. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and amicably.

Under New Zealand consumer protection laws, you may have additional rights. We recommend contacting the New Zealand Commerce Commission if you believe your consumer rights have been violated.

Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Return and Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on vorxenorghul.ddd. The policy in effect at the time of your service booking will apply to that booking.
